“Not just about adding alcohol, it's about transforming texture, enhancing flavor, and creating desserts that feel luxurious.” — Amazon Reviewer
Why I Wrote This Book
I remember my mom making rum and bourbon balls when I was little. Years later I served a version of a rum cake at a party and got rave reviews, and I was hooked. I started digging into where these soaked, spirit-kissed cakes came from, and found that the old recipes were wilder and better than I expected. So I baked my way through the centuries, tested them, converted them for modern kitchens, and added plenty of my own. This is the book I wished I'd had.
